About Grange School
We are an 11-16 mixed comprehensive school in the centre of Oldham with a vast majority of our pupils coming from the Westwood and Coldhurst wards. We have twenty four different Languages spoken by pupils in school. We are a hard working dedicated and professional workforce who ensures that all pupils are given every opportunity to reach their maximum potential.
The ethos of the school is one whereby all pupils and staff are learners. We provide a safe and caring environment.
Our school was designated a Visual Arts College in 2002 and we were granted second specialism in Languages in 2006. We are also part of the Leading Edge Partnership Programme and our focus here is Mathematics.
EACT Academy
As you may be aware we are in our final Year of Grange School and we become an EACT Academy in 2010. We remain an EACT Academy in the same building from September 2010 and move to the Royton area to our new building in September 2013.
Ms. C. Burgess is our new Principal from September 2010.
