Willow Expert and Sculptor

Jeff Allen visited grange for 1 week to teach willow craft to a whole range of pupils from yr 7 to yr 11 and also primary children who were here as part of primary art week.

The pupils created a fence structure, with different bird shapes and an owl for our memorial garden next to the art department.

Jeff's work is a constant development of contemporary basket making and sculpture crossovers, developing practical and artistically functional forms of seating and garden structures.

He attended Bolton Technical School,
Bolton College of Art Pre Diploma Course and studied painting and sculpture at Exeter College of Art and Design. I set up Eco-Arts in 1995.
