Public & Community Artist

Paul has worked extensively at developing a porfolio of bespoke public and community artwork.
Specialising in making robust floor and wallscape pieces for exterior usage, has earned paul a growing reputation for producing aesthetically appealling work in response to the many diverse environmental situations the work is produced for and in.

Offering a complete service of community consultation, individual design, realisation and instalation. Paul has a wide variety of experience and knowledge of the process involved in the Public and Community Art field.

Paul has been working with pupils at Grange and the surrounding community to produce a sculptural piece of art work for the outside of school. This Artwork consists of large forms which will be covered in a colourfull mosaic design, which paul and the pupils produced when working together. Paul says "The involvement of the community is integral to a works successfull conclusion. The interaction brings expert local knowledge and awareness during the process of creating ownership, whilst making sure the work is site specific. The level of the interaction depends on each clients criteria in terms of personnel development and expected aesthetic".
