Holocaust project - Caroline Slifkin

Two Year 9 art groups have taken part in a mixed media workshop with the artist Caroline Slifkin.

Caroline is part of the Imperial War Museums Fellowship in Education programme and has helped pupils gain a greater understanding of the Holocaust and some of the artwork that was created as a result of it.

Pupils commented that ‘looking at the artwork of children the same age made it easier for me to understand and make my own artwork’ ‘using art helped me express my feelings towards the Holocaust’.

Caroline was very pleased with all of the work produced and looks forward to seeing the finished outcomes.
