Art Summer school 08

Five Grange Art Staff worked during the Art Summer School that ran during the first week of the Summer holidays.
Year 6 and 7 pupils from schools all over Oldham were given the opportunity to take part in painting, animation, graphics, 3D, textiles and surface decoration workshops.
Gustav Klimt’s art inspired several of the workshops delivered by staff and a visit to the Klimt Exhibition at the Tate, Liverpool helped to inspire pupils.
An exhibition of pupils work is currently displayed on the Grange School website.
All pupils were rewarded with certificates for taking part and on the last afternoon prizes were awarded for a variety of skills identified by art staff and learning mentors throughout the week.
