My desert plant
Shirin Akhtar 9.2 - Arabian Stump
The reason I named my plant the ‘Arabian Stump’ is because it’s in Arabia and the actual plant looks stumpy
. My plant has a long life cycle; it grows slowly and survives from one rain storm to another. It has waxy leaves so it doesn’t need much water and it’s very small. My plant has beautiful flowers so it can attract insects to pollinate. It also has a very thick bark to store or save water and the stems store water to keep the plant alive when it’s dry. My roots on the plant go deep down and are spread side ways to get at any rain or water.
