Bienvenue au département de langues!

The DfES has recently awarded Grange School Languages Status as a Second Specialism making the future both exciting and challenging for the staff, the pupils, and the parents.

The MFL department at Grange school is composed of a group of hardworking and enthusiastic professionals who have a passion for languages. We believe that all pupils benefit from learning a modern language. By learning new languages, pupils learn to appreciate other cultures and different communities. They also gain an insight into their own culture and society. Learning languages help them develop their study skills in general and lays the foundation for future language learning.

Students of all ages have access to authentic materials, ICT facilities, native speakers and extra-curricular activities. Our communicative approach has enabled many pupils to excel in GCSE examinations. We provide a pleasant and stimulating environment and always expect high standards from pupils as well as from staff. Learning a language at Grange school is an enjoyable experience which can open many doors for those who make the most of all we offer.
