Developing a Love of Language

Pupils at Grange School have been busy with their languages this year!

In February, fifteen year 9 pupils went to Salford University for the day to practise French.

The aim of the day was to motivate and encourage pupils to learn more French and to give them more confidence in speaking.

The whole day was conducted in French and some pupils even went on stage to join in a play!

We held an Italian day in April, where pupils learnt Italian words, made posters for the day and tasted Italian food in the canteen.

The day was a great success and we are looking forward to tasting food from even more countries in the coming term.
