Oldham College Workshop

On Thursday 21st February a group of 22 students were given the opportunity to work with Oldham College in a dance workshop.

The students from the college had prepared a dance to teach our students and then to perform later in the afternoon for a small audience. The students worked hard throughout the day and were nervous when it was time for their performance.

The Oldham College students performed first then our students had to perform the dances they had learnt earlier that day. The students only had four hours to learn the dances and then perform. They did excellently in their performance and enjoyed working with the students. When they had completed their part they sat back and watched how it should have been done as the students from the college continued with their show.
Not to forget the 5 students who helped to set up and work the lights for the performance. These students worked hard all day setting up the stage area and helping with the lighting and the screens for the final performance.
