Christianity
Is taught across both K.S. 3 and K.S. 4
In year 7 pupils learn about Christianity as part of the six major religions, learning about their leaders, prophets’, symbols, holy buildings and places.
In year 8 they study in more depth Christian beliefs, holy writings, history, celebrations and special places of importance.
In year 9 pupils learn about the rites of passage in Christianity and their viewpoints and responses to World Matters.
In year 10 and year 11 under the banner titles of Relationships and Social / Moral Issues much more emphasis is placed on learning from religions and how students can see how Judaism responds to the relationships and important issues raised in the world today.
